Tuning Fork Therapy

Tuning Fork Therapy is a gentle, yet powerful form of Sound Healing that can bring your body and mind back into harmony. When a tuning fork is placed near the skull, this sends vibrations through the cranial bones, which are an excellent conductor of sound. These vibrations then balance the Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) throughout the spine to regulate the nervous system. Tuning fork frequencies also relax the brain and stimulate the vagus nerve for calming effects. The vagus nerve, which regulates parasympathetic (rest and digest) activity, may be stimulated by vibration near the neck or ears, promoting calm and healing.

1. Pacemakers or other implanted electronic devices – Vibrational therapy may interfere with electronic equipment.
2. Seizure disorders – Certain frequencies may trigger sensitivity in individuals with epilepsy.
3. Recent surgery or fractures – Avoid direct application over healing wounds, fresh incisions, or broken bones.
4. Pregnancy – Avoid placing tuning forks directly over the abdomen or lower back unless cleared by a healthcare provider.
5. Severe sound sensitivity or auditory conditions – High-frequency sounds may be overwhelming for some individuals.
